Overview: Snorlax is a gluttonous, normal type Pokémon. It is the last in a two-stage evolutionary line, which also includes Munchlax. It debuted in Pokémon Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow, which is the first generation of Pokémon games. Its chubby appearance and lazy personality make it a popular Pokémon. Snorlax plushies are often very large and cuddly.
History/Biology: Snorlax is the Sleeping Pokémon, named due to the fact that it is almost always sleeping. It is a spherical creature with chubby arms and feet. It has catlike ears and clawed hands and feet. Its lower fangs are exposed and it has permanently closed eyes. Its back is a navy blue color, while its belly, face, and feet are a cream color. When it does stand, it is bipedal. Snorlax has an incredible apatite, and will only wake up to eat. Its stomach is very strong so it can digest any kind of food. When full, it will go into a deep sleep, and almost nothing can wake it. Children will often use a sleeping Snorlax as a trampoline. If this Pokémon is ever angered, however, it is very strong and dangerous.
